- Gently brush with a soft brush and water as immediate treatment.
- Dry immediately with a hairdryer or fan to avoid damage.
- If the stain is acidic, use soda water instead of water.
- For solids, gently scrape it off with a blunt knife or spatula.
- Occasional cleaning from a professional rug cleaning service is recommended.
