The KF20 from Kidde is an optical smoke alarm and very effective in the detection of smouldering fires such as those started on furniture and electrical equipment such as TVs, making it the ideal alarm for use in living areas, hallways and landings. The KF20 is mains powered with a 9V Alkaline battery backup (included, replaceable) and can be inter-linked with up to 23 other Kidde mains alarms – including their ionisation, head and optical ranges. If one alarm is triggered in an inter-linked circuit, all alarms will go off, making the system an ideal warning for the whole of your home.
