It is important to take some time to prepare hose before first use as it will have never been expanded before this. Allow water to fill hose up and contract to a good distance, then turn water off and allow to drain out and contract back. Do this several times before adding any more pressure by pulling it out where you need it. Outer mesh can be prone to snagging, be cautious when dragging it over rough terrain.
