Tournus s/steel insect killers are an indoor appliance for the control of winged insects, typically used in kitchen areas.
Electric control models feature actinic fluorescent tubes whose UV radiation attracts insects, which are electrocuted on contact with the inner steel wire grids. Inner grids are powered by transformer giving high voltage low intensity current. The electrocuted insects fall into a removable tray in the base, which isolates the unit on removal.
An outer protective grid is fitted. Each come with a standard 1.2 M power cable/plug top and require a 230 V 13 A electrical supply.
